These terms govern your use of the pause.fit application and website (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

pause.fit is a break reminder and desk exercise application. It provides movement prompts and exercise suggestions for people with sedentary work habits. The Service is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice.

2. Accounts

You may need to provide an email address to access certain features. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

3. Free & Pro Plans

• Free plan — includes break reminders, starter exercises, and one work schedule. Free forever.
• Pro plan — $4.99/month or $39/year. Includes the full exercise bank, AI exercise generator, unlimited schedules, and full stats. You can cancel anytime.

Prices may change with reasonable notice. Existing subscriptions will be honored at their current rate until renewal.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

Pro subscriptions are billed through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). Billing, refunds, and cancellation are handled by the respective platform according to their policies. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

5. Health Disclaimer

The exercises and recommendations provided by pause.fit are for general wellness purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you have a medical condition or experience pain, consult a healthcare professional before using the Service. You use all exercises at your own risk.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.
• Redistribute or resell the Service or its content.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code in pause.fit are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, pause.fit is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to physical injury from performing exercises.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via the app or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by French law. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of France.
